i hate to say this but there is no comfortable way out of ocd. there is no painless, quick or easy way. it’s painful and hard and frustrating and terrifying, but it gets easier. it’s a skill, you have to practice, and you will get better at it. it gets a little easier, and then a bit more, and you will have bad days and slip ups, but you keep going and going and you will be so amazed at how far you’ve come one of these days
